5/1/07 MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT!

Season 2007 is around the corner and your football club has been working tremendously hard over this off-season to improve our football club and we need you to recommit for another season to ensure that our hard work isn't wasted.

As you know we have a number of new players coming into the senior ranks from our successful Under 18 team of 2006 and we are busy recruiting and preparing for 2007 as you read this letter.

We have a young team and the building blocks are in place to restore Kangaroo Flat to the force it once was in the late and mid 90's. Four of the top 6 players in the senior best & fairest were 22 years of age or younger and providing we all remain loyal the improvement of these guys, the experience of the older guys and the enthusiasm of the newcomers will show that this team can rightfully return to finals action.

You have most likely heard numerous rumours about our footy club over the past months and weeks, majority of these are untrue. I can guarantee you that all the decisions the committee have made and are making are all made with our valuable playing group in mind. It is our intention to make sure you play football in a place where enjoyment remains and success develops.

I urge you to commit to season 2007 with the Kangaroo Flat Football Club. This is a club of the future and with the work we have put in and the commitment from the playing group the future is now.
