A great turn out from both the Junior & Senior clubs on the weekend. We had quite a few members sign up on the day, but still have a lot of work to do to increase our membership base from last season.

There is no doubt that there is a sense of excitement around the club at the moment and we are encouraging all followers of the Kangaroo Flat Football Netball Club to sign up as a member and support us financially as we make our way up the ladder.

Ronnie Stevens will be done the club most training nights to collect money and help fill out your forms; but don’t forget you can always print off a form from the website:  Membership Info

This Friday (7th) we are heading to Wine Justice in High Street, Golden Square, for our 2nd pre-season drinks function. Cost is $2 per head and that will cover your wine tastings and a few platters.  We are really wanting to see all the players & supporters there with their partners. A great opportunity for everyone to meet other partners before the season proper begins.

This night will also see the launching of our major fundraiser. A Wine Sale!  The club make a profit on each bottle sold and we have our own label! Order forms will be available on the night and around the club from next week. They will also be on the website shortly.

WHAT’S NEW ON THE WEBSITE??

The Footballers have started a punters club for the 2008 season.  $50 gets you into the mix and each week (Wednesday night training tea) a punter is randomly chosen to place $50 worth of bets on any sporting event to be held on the Saturday.  10% of the end of year balance will go to the Footy trip, 10% to the Club & 80% back to the punters to do whatever they want to with it!
